When I got my first job I had like $10,000 saved up and nothing to buy after getting a new PC. So over the course of like a year I spent $5,000 on anime figures, some of them I didn't even want that much but just felt like filling a quota each month. In hindsight it was pretty dumb. Now I have a ton of Miku nendoroids and Shimakazes and various gothloli characters sitting in my closet. If I ever get a gf I hope we can build a anime figure shrine and I can go back to collecting, but since I don't have any friends or anything to share in figure collecting I don't bother displaying them.
