Well so far Pomu (will refer to her as Pomu for clarity sake) has:
>Taken a Japanese learning course to learn some Japanese
>Gone to Japan and met Kiara and Fwmc
>Made a talkshow with Matara which she has stressed multiple times that it's just gonna last throughout the summer
>Already made clear that she's not joining Vshojo
I know a lot of people don't want to believe that Pomu will join Hololive, mostly because there's no surprise and nothing to discover if she were to debut in Hololive, after all we know who she is, how she is and what she's capable of.
Quite a few of the people here would prefer for Hololive to gatcha some random indie girl to get a spot as the next EN gen over getting to have a guaranteed girl that's already proven to be talented as both an idol and a streamer.
I genuinely believe that Pomu wouldn't have left Nijisanji without having something that would guarantee her future as a streamer in some way, because I highly doubt she would ever leave and try to make it as an indie when it's very clear that her dream job is to be a real idol one day. Both Nijisanji and Vshojo couldn't and won't be able to provide her the stage to become one, so I can only imagine that she got told that she would get a spot in the next gen guaranteed if she left Niji and waited X amount of months for the next EN wave to debut.

I think most people don't want Pomu in Hololive because there's nothing to discover for her if she joins Hololive, everyone knows who she is, how she is and what she's capable of. Yes she has talent, yes has the experience already, and can sing and dance that can match genuine idols out there.
But because people already know all that then they would prefer if Hololive took someone that's a hidden gem that has been struggling to grow despite having the talent for it.
Pomu already has the success that any 2view would kill to have and seeing her take a spot that could go to someone that REALLY needs it is what rubs some people the wrong way.
That being said, Pomu joining can also be considered a good thing because we all know how hard working she is, how much she streams and how positive she is.
So it becomes the dilemma of wether people prefer to gatcha some 2view girl that could either be the next Gura, or end up like Sana and quit a few months in, or have Pomu and guarantee someone that fits the very definition of a genuine idol girl
