>Why is there a fan to keep the temp of her PC in check when her PC should've been fixed?
Her PC isn't even broken, it's just a matter of tech literacy and AMD being shit at explaining what's different with the new generation. She has a 7900X, which is DESIGNED to run at 95C. The Zen4 generation chips, they will boost as hard as possible to hit 95C and then stay there rock steady without throttling -- it's not like older chips where reaching high temps causes them to pump the breaks to try to bring temperature down, the Zen4 chips basically have cruise control set at 95C and will not go over or under that value no matter how hard you try.

More details if anybody wants to read further -- guy tested a 7950X with a range of coolers and fan speeds and the thing always stayed at 95C during full load no matter what:

Whatever instability Gura had wasn't related to her CPU temp, it's probably software related and not hardware, but sadly AMD did a poor job of explaining the differences in Zen4 vs older generations so it's a reasonable response to see "holy shit my CPU is super hot that must be the problem".
