/vt/ - Virtual Youtubers

I thought I was too strong for it as well. I joked about Goslinging for my at-the-time oshi who is in Hololive, but my most extreme thoughts were along the lines of "I'd love to date this girl if she were real & interested in me".
Once I moved to 2views though, oh man. Constantly talking with them in streams/twitter is a high that you just don't get from large corpos, especially if the girl is a NEET living with her parents so vtubing is her biggest social outlet. The parasocial feelings flow both ways for a lot of them, even if it's to chat as a whole, not to any specific person within. It's really easy to fall into the trap.
I still think you have to be completely off your rocker to have a full on delusionally parasocial relationship with a large corpo though.
