Thing is without ids, samefagging reins supreme. As long as you have time and drive, you can make up any "general opinion" and run any thread or board to the ground.
Not even mentioning coordinated posting trough discords and stuff (proven to be real), using your phone or pass to post more etc.

The most effective way is to falseflag as the other side expect more retarded and agressive, like creation a thread "The most based vtuber ever?" with a Pippa picture, "The queen of wester vtubing" "Is there a more based and redpilled >/our/ vtuber than Pippa?" " "Why does she make /vt/ seeth?" "How can she be so perfect?" and so on, often falseflags posing as newfags asking to be spoonfed, then replying to themselves with rrats and stuff. In general going in other threads or this thread and being obnoxious, overly praising the vtuber to the point of stupidity and making arguments easy to destroy.
Just one guy numberfagged lumi on purpose to the point people started talking about how insufferable lumifags were being such numberjniggers.

Then you can screencap or reference yourself later saying how this chuuba really has the worst fanbase ever. If you don't question the veracity of something if it pleases your preconception.

The opposite works too, making over the top hate threads where OP looks like a clown on purpose will have people come to defend the vtuber. Pic rel is just a lazy but effective way to shill Lumi for example.
This board has the biggest newfag amount of the site, many came from twitters thanks to those screenshots/"Vtuber Cringe" account and such, so people keep falling for baits left and right. People take things written here seriously etc.
