Think of it like a concert but streamed with a 3D panoramic camera which allows you to get up close face to face with the singers. The VR is for better immersion since you can look around the stage by just turning your head. Sort of like if you were in the front row. If you don't have a VR device then you should still be able to pan the camera angle of the stream as you watch. Have a look at these vods done by yagoo and choco. Pan the camera around as it plays. This is the future of where Cover is going with their concerts.
