So you're admitting you were brought in with the appeal of vtubers who are more political and more interactive with men, like your western female streamers? That's what you want. You're the reason that gatekeeping any niche community exists because you come in a dilute the appeal to suit your normalfag taste.
Hopefully the JP branch won't be as poisoned and hopefully they'll rein in EN what made vtubers great before the spoil it like any number of other niche communities.

Firstly, Sora and Pekora are two very different types of people. Pekora is rather insular and introverted whereas Sora is much more extroverted. This means that it is much easier for Sora to form a relationship with others.

Adding to this, the histories of Miko and Kiara are completely different.
Miko is a vtuber from another company who interacted with Sora once before joining Hololive due to Sora's recommendation. The fact that Sora had a part in Miko's recruitment shows that Sora saw value in Miko and has a level of respect towards her.
Kiara, on the otherhand, had no real prior history with Pekora or vtubing before joining HoloEN. So, there wasn't a real opportunity for Kiara to gain the respect of Pekora before meeting her. Thus, the power dynamics between the two was like a fan and a celebrity. Pekora is rather shy, so this would make her feel uncomfortable, making it harder for Kiara to form a healthy friendship with her.
