I always have a feeling that most of these "offences" aren't even that bad, and most of the time it's just because all Japanese companies are secretly black companies.

Do not trust a single Japanese company. Not saying western companies are any better, but at least with western companies someone usually properly leaks what's going on behind the scenes.
