I gave hinduist examples just to explain the so-called "natural order" of religion. If you look into ancient asian religions, you'd see the spiritual implications in religious roles: the Chinese Emperor had a Divine Mandate, Shintoism had obvious Confucian influences in the spiritual role of the Shogun, both in Minzoku and Kokka Shinto (Although the latter wouldn't be formally introduced until the 19th century)!!
