It was horrific, and only made worse by people who had both streams open at the same time. Meanwhile, Doki herself was just trying to play Neopets and got messages from someone else explaining what was going on. She slowly unwraveled, turning into a quivering mess stammering out that whatever is going on is not the truth and that she had receipts, repeating herself constantly that she had receipts and clearly shaking while chat told her to get the fuck off the stream and talk to her lawyer. She kept trying to power through as if somehow neopets would erase everything going on, but her lawyer called her and finally she was able to end the stream and prepare a statement.

I had NEVER seen Selen that visibly scared or shook in any public appearance, and for good reason. That shit fucking ruined Nijisanji in my eyes, showing that not only did they make a "mistake" with Selen, but those "mistakes" were both premeditated and malicious. That company is destructive and evil.

Selen could be LITERALY SATAN and have faked everything, and it still wouldn't make Nijisanji look any better.

They put out a three page attack against a popular suicide victim, which was stupid enough in and of itself, but then, even AFTER seeing the results of that, they did it again, only the second time putting their talents on the career ending firing line.

Even if you believe Selen to be purple satan incarnate, that's still an absolutely insane level of irresponsibility completely ignoring the well being of their own talent's careers, if not their very lives - telling several hundred thousand angry folks that their oshi might have been bullied to the point of suicide by these folks we're parading in front of you. It's not something any sane person or company would do, not even the most greed driven of companies would do something like this as there isn't even a profit motive. There's simply a level of spite here that is so overwhelming that the branch has become a danger to its own talents, as well as to its parent company.

...and if you don't believe Selen to be the whore of Babylon Herself, then it isn't simply an insane act, but also an act of pure unadulterated evil.

There's no "propaganda" involved. Nijisanji did this in front of us all, even harassing Doki off the air while claiming there's no harassment going on for everyone to see. Even if you believe she faked her attempt, which is something not even Nijisanji itself has been stupid enough to suggest, the whole incident is still indicative of an organization that has completely lost its mind and has gone from company to cult.

NijiEN really needs to be shut the fuck down before they ruin anyone else's careers or, better yet, actually get someone killed, as when that happens it'll utterly fuck the whole industry, affecting every oshi everywhere. There is literally zero reason to be defending this shit, lest maybe you're among the folks being paid to do so.

She lost a LOT of dedicated weewas with that stream, several with the 2 + year badge. The sisters absolutely won't support her, and she'll basically just be relying on the remaining few dedicated famelira since the algorithm has completely fucked over all of niji due to the subs dropping. They clearly won't grow anymore, and it's all downhill from here.

I'm guessing it's the same thing that's wrong with NijiEN, which I don't understand either. How does a company get it into its head that putting up a three page attack against a popular suicide victim, while pointing to your remaining talents as someone to potentially lay the blame on, is a good idea? Once, you might be able to write off to one really angry guy with far more power than responsibility, and a lot of alcohol. But twice!? After seeing the initial reaction!? Doing it all over again, but via broadcast and naming names the second time around to boot? Not to mention deliberately bullying the popular suicide vic off the air for all to see as you try to convince everyone there's no harassment going on.

These decisions, or at the very least the second one and likely the first, absolutely had to be run under the eyes of multiple human beings, and not one that anyone would listen to had the common sense or balls to say, "This is retarded!" I know you've got high schoolers working for you, but even high schoolers, hell, even elementary school kids, would predict you getting mogged by public opinion for this, and you had solid proof of it by the time you made the black video.

We were expecting an apology and an empty promise to change, more akin to Riku's video. No one in their widest dreams thought you would be crazy enough to double down!

How does something like this even happen!? And how can anyone defend it!? What kind of defect takes hold of a whole group of human beings to divorce them so severely from reality and common sense?

I know a lot of you "sisters" are just trolls baiting the crowd for shiggles, and a lot of you are paid actors of one sort or another, but I get the feeling that far too many of you are defending this whole heartedly. You do realize it's only a matter of time before one of these talents dies, via suicide or murder, if NijiEN is allowed to keep going as is, yes? What that will do to the whole industry? Is that what you're hoping for? There's no rational reason for a fan to defend this shit. Hell, even Riku refuses to defend this shit, and he owns the damned company!

So why and how? This sort of thing shouldn't be possible amongst a group of beings with any degree of rationality between them, yet somehow, here we are.

Trauma and trauma reactions are intrinsically not logical. They're driven by your more primitive midbrain and impede the function of your prefrontal cortex. That's the smart boy part of your brain responsible for working memory, planning, decision making and risk processing for example. Without those abilities you're not going to be capable of acting logically. It's why so many suicide attempts fail in the first place.

Give your best, most charitable explanation as to recent events with Niji. Is there any possible world were their actions from their point of view were reasonable.

Why reignite this issue?
