Around 2017 SCP got too bloated with people, rifts formed and a bunch of people left to make their own versions of SCP. There was an entire timeline showing which faction split from who or joined back or died. The two types of people who split off were the creatives who wanted more freedom and felt constrained by SCP's rules and the rightoids who were tired of SCP trannies. The biggest split was RPC and they allowed a lot of /pol/posting. The other splits were either more moderate or more extreme. The biggest controversy I was aware of when I was active was when tranny ocultist NotOnision edited screenshots to make it look like the some of the smaller Foundations were plotting to deleting articles from RPC with the intent to start some sort of gay wikidot war. He was banned from most servers for those fake screenshots.
