Within the last couple days, three separate bugs have landed in my water cup. I don't know what they're called, tiny flying ones that are a lot smaller than flies. Why are they so drawn to the water? It enables me to easily kill them, or sometimes they even just fall into it themselves and die.

I went and checked what Finana meant by "every $99.99 pack" in Nikke. There are four of them. She spent at least $400 just to get a single character in this game. By my math it would actually cost roughly twice that amount to hit pity and guarantee the character, but the SSR rate is theoretically good enough compared to other games that you should be able to get her before then. But that's gacha luck for you. Meanwhile I pulled ten, got Makima, pulled another 20 and got Power, all with free gems. You really never know so you have to either save the maximum amount or hope you get lucky and accept that you might not get the character. I would never spend real money on something that relies on random chance.
Still, I don't know if Finana's parents are doctors or what and they have infinite money but I wish I had as much money to burn as she does. I could find so many better things to spend it on than gacha, and that's speaking as someone who enjoys gacha but is perfectly content to play F2P. All these gacha gamers in Nijisanji laugh about how much money they're burning as if it's some sort of joke but it leaves me with a really bitter feeling inside me every time they talk about how they just spent hundreds of dollars on jack shit.
