Thanks for the kind words! I realized that the exposition was a bit much and probably not super naturally put in, but I figured if I was playing it a bit fast and loose and it's more of a vehicle for stuff involving the trio anyway to just get it out of the way now so I don't necessarily have to worry about cluing people in later when I inevitably write more. I'm also seemingly a slave to en media res beginnings which doesn't help. But they're just so much fun!
