Her NND antis organized an "attack" on her Banjo-Kazooie stream in July or August because they thought she was emulating the N64 version and that they didn't have Microsoft permissions.
Except it was the N64 version. She played her physical copy, and it fell under Nintendo permissions, so it was fine. And on top of that, instead of getting Rare and Microsoft riled up against her, they accidentally got those companies to talk up her stream instead, with even the music producer shouting her out.
When Grant Kirkhope, the music producer, did that, it got into the circle of people who follow that guy, which included that 2Snacks guy, who made the Eekum Bokum animation, which fucking exploded and made Korone even bigger than her post-Doog blowup, secured a working relationship with Cover and Microsoft that's led to things like the Game Pass sponsorship with Shishiron, AND strengthened the EOP market pre-HoloEN, which was a major factor in its explosive growth.
Korone antis are the only ones who had their shit backfire about as hard as the bugs.
