Shitposting aside, I kind of get what you mean by Rosebuds being thin skinned atm, but it's not like it's new. They (well, we) were like this toward any criticism shortly after debut too. And it was pretty much the same reason: she had a lot of shitposters and schizos targeting her.
That is to say: Nothing actually changed about the fanbase, this is just how people get when the shitposting is bad enough that there's no point engaging with the rare legitimate criticism. And it doesn't help that /vt/ is such a cesspit that even if you DO mean something genuinely, it'll be at least a day at most before shitposters add it to their rhetoric. Any actual discussion of a vtuber's perceived issues are doomed to failure, it's just how the board is. Sorry to tell you.

I doubt it will actually affect anything much, but from now on /vt/ will claim literally anything that happens in Nijisanji is to appease the shareholders. Which is annoying.
I remember seeing people claim Melissa "was just going to be the first in a series of graduates! The shareholders demand it!" for example, when of course by now anyone who actually follows her has heard the actual reason (Copyright shit where she would've bumped heads with Anycolor about no matter what).
I expect to see a lot more retarded narratives like that from now on though. Because it's not like truth matters on /vt/, whoever screams the loudest and longest gets to decide the leading narrative.
