why the fuck did they make it so complicated to capture console output

had to buy a ps2 rgb scart cable because the av cable it came with is shit quality
then an rgb scart to hdmi box
then a game capture device on top of that

every graphics card should come with an hdmi input built in so you can skip the last step at least
