I'd say most people do care about the model, but obviously not to the extent of it making you drop someone over it unless they literally become a stickman or something of the sort
I've been watching multiple liggers who used to have pretty meh models and obviously I stayed for their personality, but having eye candy is nice and nice designs are just pleasant to look at. this is what they're using to express themselves with after all
