Kind of getting /x/ tier here but I rationalize it from a spiritual perspective that whatever encoded such a powerful breeding impulse into life did so in order to insure that the experiment of incarnating in the physical would continue indefinitely on It's own. Yet also that it was integrated in with predator-prey dynamics so that beings would be forced and have an avenue for recognizing, balancing and integrating their drives. Half the time, I feel like I've experienced so much of that side of it that I don't want it anymore.
