I started watching Hololive back in the day because it was the closest thing to 2.5D SoL anime. Fun and cute, great voices, friendly atmosphere, mad banter, karaoke, promise of original songs and more concerts. Males had no place in it, but not because of muh boyfriend bullshit. They just don't belong in that transcendent piece of moe paradise. Nobody cared about occasional collabs with nijimales or indies like Gatchman since they didn't have to be a part of the universe. People loved their chuubas, but it wasn't the kind of transactional shit deranged "gachikoi" here are now trying to demand.
Then some holos started pandering to faggots who want rental anime Amouranth because they are ready to throw their life savings at their virtual girlfriend substitute and because they are NEETs who are ready to make clips 24/7.
