i've dabbled with MUGEN years ago, and even just making a sprite swap of KFM using ripped sprites took me like 2 weeks of working on it in my free time. i spent years of my youth making sprites, and i currently make sprites for rpg maker projects. shit is time consuming as all hell when art isn't your calling. i estimate it'd take me (personally) a good 60-70 hours of work to have one fully functional character, and they'd probably look ugly and be animated poorly. sorry bro, not about that life.
