I mean, that's exactly it. One if it's probably filled with cope juice from Hololive could take it as "oh well she had nothing planned because she's waiting for EN4", but something she has spoken too much about it and even as Pomu, is that she literally hated people saying "oh she's joining xyz". Mint, clearly, still needs to figure it out what she wants to do. She discovered in Niji stuff that we don't know, she had opportunities shot down, and door closed, even if she had a good community and some good friends for life like Mata. That stuff fucks with someone's brain and it really shows a huge difference between both Matara/Kuro and Mint.

Matara and Kuro didn't join Niji expecting to be an idol or sing/dance and have 3D, that's it. They wanted new opportunities in their careers and when they couldn't had those, they left with a new mindset in VShojo, Pomu came into Niji with a different mindset (similar to the one Henya and Matara left with) and left with one damaged, it's understandable why she needs to figure it out. Hence, why I do believe, in some way, if she got Gun's attention to join, she likely put a hold or rejected it. Because she still needs to figure it out, what is what she wants next, because joinin g a group is too much responsibility for someone who came from one disappointed in many ways.
