I can not express how starkly different the design ideas between this place and last zone are
this place is a fucking masterpiece, punishments are for the most part reasonable, jumps can be repeated until mastery and there's very, very few easy skips

literally 'git gud: the stage', but without inbuilt tedium that tries to tire you out, make you impatient and lower your execution
the only factor is just the tension of making the perfect jump every time
