It's a good show if you watch it through the correct lens.
It is **not** an isekai power fantasy. The characters are too OP for that to work, there is no "build up", the protagonist got his harem from the getgo and there is no tension, be it sexual or in the general plot.

Overlord, instead, is a SALARYMAN power fantasy, with Momonga being the avatar for every salaryman in Japan which fantasizes

Ainz is just that, not some retarded earthling that got isekai'd into a new world, but a retarded salaryman that got isekai'd into becoming a CEO and has no clue about how to proceed.
