Twitter is not real life, that would be point 1. Someone will certainly post Ranunculus (or was it Heroes of the West) massive Twitter engagement vs. their debuts (and current numbers) to show just that.
Second point is that of kyoresu didn't make waves (and is languishing on Sub-Aia levels) I doubt their new debuts would.
Maybe they will, but if they do it will be a surprise.

There are lots of industries where you can just buy your way up to a huge audience: movie industry, music industry, television industry.
Just hit the "kingmakers" with payola and all of a sudden you're in the Billboard #1, receiving an Oscar, receiving a Grammy, an Emmy and being talked and viewed by millions

In the internet, specially in the niche hobby that live streaming is, and the niche within the niche that vtubers are, there is no such thing.
There is Hololive, then there is everybody else fighting for scraps that fall from their table.
