On that note, I think the comparaison with Rose/Kitanya is interesting, as Bea and her share a lot of the early pattern. People who can't stand western vtubers don't read.
Rose had some activity before her big debut, but no views, similar to Bea JP days.
Both found a huge chunk of a new audience at once for their new debut, Bea on 4chan, and Rose on reddit, her self promotion was like 2k upvote and stayed very long at the top. A few people linked her stream in 4chan but that amounted to like 10 viewers. It did help that her debut lasted 18h and she was actually very good, energetic, reading the chat and not anxious.

Rose had around 200 viewers, and it very slowly decreased to 70~100, similary to bea early 150+ and now 50~100. Rose also had the highest donation to viewer ratio I've ever seen, getting about 12K USD in barely 2 months, Beatani now being the other one with such a high ratio.
Both didn't collab or networked for a very very long time, Rose had a friend but with 0 clout and basically all their viewer was from her. Despite some new shilling on reddit to get small boost, it was only slowly going down, until she started to collab with Nina, and then Koopa, to from the quator they're now, which then boosted her back as mot of the audience from the others started watching the group, and then other that discovered Koopa/Nina from different collbas of them, then discovered Rose. It's fortunate for them that they had very good chemistry for the start.
While they are basically opposed in style, they really followed a similar trajectory at the start.
