As an actual oldfag who loves holoJP I'm happy with them realizing their hololive idol dreams in Japan. No matter how you cope, there is simply no better place to be to make that happen than there. Access to the studio, much more likely to be involved in events and shill stuff, recordings, dance and vocal lessons with other holos, offcollabs with so many holoJP - everything is easier and better this way.
And I am happy cause I want that. Not just for them but because I myself look forward to that.

With that said, lord are they bad about announcing things. It could have been so much easier. You could literally just say hey we'll have a shit load to do soon but before that let's have a special golden week with things being wild and all over the place. And done. There is no need to make it so dramatic.
