What determines who catches holoAIDS or not?

Something I noticed when it comes to live2D philosophy: hololive models usually have a lot of movement, sometimes even too much, the models look like they're made of jello or puppets/ragdolls being controlled by someone. This is turns sacrifices facial tracking and expressions, they rely on the press of a button to express emotions. Niji models are a lot more stiff in comparison, but have better range of expressions and do not rely on the press of a button to express emotions, it is literally the person's emotions being tracked in real time.

Which one of these philosophies would you say it's preferrable?
