I used to find groups on social media to find players to play with on fighting games, I ended up finding a local group. Then we started on this weird chatting app, then went to discord. The players change over time and the game also change, but the course is the same. Since I play fighting games, its usually a short session of half an hour to 3 hours max, and we mostly keep discussion to games. I like the surface level, only contact when needed for games nature of the fighting game community

I’ve been taught since child to be learn to accept new tastes so as I grow older I just try things again things that I used to hate. Not that I love every food or anything, I still have food that I’d rather not eat, but I can eat them despite not really liking it.
