I completely understandn that it's a personal issue, and that the rest of what you said is true.
But I think this is a "filtered out the door" issue kinda thing that can hurt them on top of that. Like, here, let's look at this screencap I took.
Her face is just... It's narrow. Scrunched together. I don't know how else to put it, but she's got a face that isn't as easy to look at as, say, Mumei or Ame or New IRyS.
To be fair, some girls have that issue on HoloEN's side, I think Kiara's face is somewhat too sharp, for instance, but I genuinely think that facial structure is a big deal for keeping people in a stream.
