>rumors start circulating, yabs start accumulating
>new NijiEN vtuber called Zaion was attempting to make sense of the shittiness of the management but NijiEN instead fired her and posted a long-ass document detailing all her violations to humiliate her
>sort of works, Zaion was a newbie and NijiEN's reputation wasn't THAT shit yet, so most people side with NijiEN, and disregard Zaion as some menhera
>yabs keep accumulating
>a vtuber named Selen, one of the more famous ones of NijiEN, has a mental breakdown due to the shitty management and harassment and tries to unironically unalive herself
>one month passes
>NijiEN decide to fire her with the same method they tried to do Zaion
>backfires massively. Selen, now known as Dokibird, has a much higher fanbase, and has made a lot of powerful connections over the years, including numerous artists, gamedevs of big games, sponsors, twitch higher ups, so when she returns as Dokibird with a 100k+ ccv return stream everyone rejoices
>NijiEN doubles down, tries to slander Doki in the now infamous "black stream" by actually revealing sensitive medical details (which is actually illegal) and having a bunch of NijiEN talents call her a double-faced liar
>backfires so hard, NijiEN loses sponsors, the talents bleed subscribers to this day, nobody goes to their events and their streams are now lucky to reach 1k ccv
>Dokibird is doing fine for herself, she kept her former numbers/fanbase she had as Selen and now that she has an actually decent management team she does whatever she wants with way more resources at her disposal
>an expo is happening during Doki's birthday at 4th july
>a former NijiEN sponsor gives their entire booth (E-40 in pic related) that day to Doki to celebrate her birthday
>the booth is literally opposite a couple of small pity booths that were given to NijiEN
