Quite the contrary, if you notice they skyrocketed in the worst period of the pandemics, reaching they highest high in March 2021.
It’s a bull market for escapist entertainment and they just had released Disney+ with pretty much a “all you can eat” package to keep kids quiet while mom and dad work from home.
But they really thought they had a crack at the growns up market and decided to make a huge gamble on diluting their former image of “family friendly sanitized content” for something more in line with the prevailing western orthodoxy and that didn’t work at all.

There is a parallel there for Hololive and that’s why I say there is no such thing as “too big to fail”

I agree with that, but the threshold to go from “unbeatable in a market” to “fending for their lives with a thousand enemies chipping at your wounded body” is
>one single retard in a position of authority wanting to change what is currently working

>too big to fail at this point
No such thing. All it would takes is one retard forgetting what’s the main product of a company and they can take a huge dive.
Take Disney: they were quite literally printing money with wholesome family friendly entertainment for children.
Then they tried to branch out and took an arrow to the knee.

They didn’t fail so far but they’re allowing. a whole lot of competitors to enter the field they abandoned
