There's nothing to play off as a joke, here even if everyone in chat took it as such. There was more than just a grain of truth. She doesn't even like me as a regular chatter, much less a friend.

The reason a chuuba joining a corpo is probably a bad thing is that they're probably not talented enough to get picked by a good corporation.
I'm sorry, but this is genuinely what I think. Not only are most of those small corpos bad, but the good ones would scout for someone who's more talented.

Nyaru seems hate communicating in Discord and other places because for her its her "place where I do my job", and the only exception to this is /wvt/'s viewercord which she has managed to caterogize as "the place where her friends are".
