Towa's kaigai/EN audience is almost entirely from pre-HoloEN days. Here's an example comparison of two morning Overwatch streams (which is the closest type of stream I can think of to isolate Towa's core). One was from the past week, one was from pre-3D (and thus pre-HoloEN). You can see relatively similar numbers of unique users, relatively similar times, and relatively similar total chat numbers. However, you see a lot more English + Stamps in the older video than in the newer video. Conversely, people like Marine who have pandered to the HoloEN crowd have seen additional English viewers in the same time frame. This suggests that Towa has if anything been losing some of the EN crowd in favor of getting more JP. She certainly hasn't been gaining any. At the same time, the fact that her superchat numbers still seem to be skewed towards foreign currency lends me to believe that at least some of the JPs are really just JSLs.
