There are more sponsors because Nijisanji has literally over double the amount of JP vtubers than Hololive has.
Nijisanji foreign branch of Indonesia has a proactive manager who secures sponsorships, convention appearances, and even held a VR show for their 2nd anniversary, which is all handled nearly totally independently from the JP branch, their numbers aren't great stream wise but their manager knows how to spread ID's name.
Comparing business contacts is kind of funny since again there's over 100 of these motherfuckers, of course they'll know more varied people, as well as their males being popular so they're able to get more male contacts who are usually utaite/musicians, esports pros, lets players, etc. Especially via Apex.
Both Hololive and Nijisanji offer VP and merchandise. Nijisanji pumps out more VPs, more often, but it's hard to use this as a gotcha because there's literally no way to gauge how much money they make off VP. People like Mayuzumi being able to donate 10 million yen consisting of his VP earnings, merch earnings and SC (when he has SC off 99% of the time) can be an indicator to VP success but there's no breakdown of the percentage of how much of the 10 mil came from VPs, never mind the fact that he is one of the most popular livers anyway, who knows what random people like Aizono are earning.
