I think the circumstances of her leaving are different from just moving on. I'm not saying she should never move on, but she was effectively a victim of the company's horrific mismanagement, negligence and abuse.
It's not like she woke up one day, everything is normal and she decided "time to pack it in". She basically said she didn't want to leave but the branch was falling apart so much, she had to.
People said that Matara had the same struggles too and Mika is probably going through it as well.
