So her first tangent about Rurouni Kenshin was how the manga ended with Kenshin having a happy ending but the anime decided he should have a tragic end where Kenshin's final story is about how he was ridden with guilt from the people he killed and how he managed to lead a happy life so he left his wife and family to help others in need from the first Sino-Japanese war with his wife's blessing. He later contracted tuberculosis and came back, seeing how his condition is incurable his wife couldn't bear him suffering alone and infected herself with it through sexual intercourse. Kenshin then left again to help the victims of war in China until his condition deteriorated so badly a visiting friend came by to bring him back to Japan. His last moments was him shambling back barely alive to his wife and then his wife also dying ran to him and embraced him where he quietly passed away in her arms. It's a real tearjerker so if Shiori loved it that's great.
