I mean, occasionally I'd have the thought of giving it a shot pop into my mind, but I'm not entirely convinced it's something I'd like to invest in enough to actually be worthwhile.

I did, and I think I'd enjoy doing it, but I don't really have anything to base a niche around.
Doing a video about whatever catches my fancy that month and doing well enough for it to be worthwhile is a privilege only well established channels have, and to become well established there needs to be a reason for people to subscribe to you (actually subscribe, not just click the button), and that requires a niche.

There's this creative itch in me I'm not entirely sure how to scratch, I'm not saying I'm a secret creative soul waiting to be discovered, more like I have a desire to make things other people would be entertained by and really, doesn't everyone have that to some degree or another?
Feels a lot like going through that teenage phase of wanting to form a rock band with your mates, except I'm in my mid twenties and without any friends I meet up with more frequently than once every half a year.
