I watched the video for the "ghost" a dozen times, and it obviously not the effect of some intentional filter, nor an after-image of kumichou. I looks like a shadow that is being aggressively interpreted by this-or-that algorithmically accelerated part of the whole video recording/encoding pipeline? Anything from the camera on down. It's becoming slightly visible more than 20 minutes before its noticed and commented on. Here you can kind of see the shadow forming one "eye" and the "jawline", but no second eye and no "mouth" yet:

Like when you force a neural net to search for a specific image in random noise, or in an image that doesn't have it at all (pic related).
