I'm tired and heading off for the night so I'll post this now.
I wanted to do a little comparative analysis of Towa's 2 MIX lives. MIX 1 was a super hype show full of big names, singing popular songs, with popular subunits and the first appearance of HoloID in these kinds of lives. MIX 2 on the other hand was a much more modest affair, with almost all minnows or mid range with only Ayame and Subaru being members that get big 3D live numbers. They peformed much less popular music, a aptly demonstrated by the most viewed collab song in MIX 2 being Mage of Violet (4.7M views) from Shion, performed first, while MIX 1 had Stellar Stellar (18M views) from Suisei and performed by Startend which gave them the big spike as seen on the graph.
MIX 1 ended up with a slightly higher peak, 8k more likes but significantly lower average viewership and a much sharper graph. I believe this indicates that MIX 1 was much more driven by tourism from the larger holomem fanbases, while MIX 2 was watched more by dedicated viewers who were there the whole time for Towa. Towa in MIX 2 managed to go back above 100k viewers after the guest section ended and barely lost any viewership during shilling, something that didn't happen in MIX 1.
Another big indication of tourist churn is the VOD views after 24 hours. While this is somewhat compromised because youtube has been fucking around with the algo, the VOD views show the biggest contrast in the numbers. MIX 1 ended up with a bit under 700k views after 24 hours (I can't be fucked to go archive searching for the exact amount, I think it was 675k?) while MIX 2 has 481k VOD views after 24 hours. As a guess, I think half of this discrepancy is youtube fuckery, but half is less churn from not having large holo fanbases checking in and out of the stream to see their oshi.
