her setting is a princess that wanted to a a prince, it's an archetype of girls that appears often on otome and shoujo mangas or series... like in Gekkan shoujo Nozaki Kun... but I'd say Rin is more girly... this kind of character has this gap moe because they proclaim to be a unlikable tomboy yet behave more girly than other girls... like buying a bunch of plushies and naming each one of them...
