Somebody mentioned last thread that StarsJP could get a boost if people spread the word on them by including good clips in the first couple of posts of the thread.
As an EOP that tries to enjoy the JP Stars, I don't think this will accomplish anything for a couple of reasons:
First, good clip views do not translate directly to retainable stream views or sustainable vod views. While there is support of certain heavily-clipped events resulting in high vod view spikes, this is usually a very short-term spike lasting less than a week.
Second, EOPs' main hurdle to StarsJP remains that they are EOPs. A good chunk of the Stars do understand English comments, and some even respond back in English, but most of the time EOP engagement with JP talents in general is very low, and Stars is no exception. The lack of Live TLs in StarsJP also means that EOPs have no real point of engagement from that angle, either.

Aki says "Good morning, good boys", and it doesn't matter what she says for the next hour, because the EOP doesn't have the blood in his brain to process anything she's saying anyway. tl;dr: Spreading clips won't help as much as you think; the boys need live TLs if you want EOPs to watch more streams live.

Why do nijiniggers get so butthurt about the fact that holo clips cultivate a bigger audience compared to nijis?
Holo clips seem just more approachable as a casual viewer.
When I first found out about vtubers I watched both Nijisanji and Hololive clips without even knowing that these companies existed. I thought these were all independent streamers. But after a while I just slowly gravitated more towards Hololive clips and members than Nijis.
They honestly have better designs that more easily catch your eye and stay in your memory for longer.
