Well, holo will still try to do collabs holo JP + niji JP, because they want to leech on niji JP's greater popularity. On the other side, I'm on 99.9% sure that we will never see Holo EN (or even Holo JP) collab with Niji EN, because, you know, Hololive, unlike Nijisanji, is too greedy for their popularity and won't share with second biggest agency. The only way for these collabs to happen is if somehow Niji EN will grow bigger or at least comparable to Holo En.
Total popularity means total profit.
JP and West audience separately. Niji JP popularity is greater than Holo JP. In fact, Niji JP popularity is greater than Holo West. The only way Holo beats Niji is Holo JP + Holo West and that's because of Niji's weak ass West popularity (for now at least).
And a couple of words about presence in business world. It's obvious that you are talking off your ass. Holo's business world and circle of contacts is pathetic, compared to Niji. Just take their investors as an example. Cover is getting invested only from a companies, who specialize on investing in a start ups, which really shows that business world sees Holo only as a tiny ass startup. On the other side, huge companies like Sony Music are investing in Nijisani
In addition they don't have a youtube algorithm and anitubers on their side.
Niji fans buy merch and voice packs every month on top of giving SCs for big events, meanwhile Noel can't even sell out her merch. All of the new nijis earned more from their monetization stream than any holos too
Btw, most Nijis can beat holos these days in both viewers and superchats.
They also sell more merch and get more sponsorships thanks to China
Nijisanji has WAY more freedom than Hololive.

/vt/ really need to learn the numbers aren't a measurement of quality so much as popularity. And we all know there is some real shit out there that's popular. It also didn't help that Gura pulled big numbers early, so everyone and their mother started mass clipping her to get those sweet sweet views, which exposed her to more people due to how the algorithm works, so she pulled bigger numbers, and the spiral continued.
Nijisanji just didn't put in the effort to expose people over here to the same degree others like Hololive and VOMS Project did. Instead Nijisanji seem to have focused much more on the Asian scene and branched out to the west with an English scene because it was bound to happen. And honestly, I think that's a genuin shame because it hampered some real quality idols.
