A Roland FP-30X.

It feels like a real piano and it punishes you for sloppy playing like a real piano, which is the highest complement I can give a digital piano. Highly recommended, nothing else under $2k comes close in terms of replicating the original instrument.

It's lacking a lot of fancier digital features, but if all you need is a piano that plugs into the wall it's perfect.
