Not owning the character IP is a small price to pay when you take into account the following things:

>Cover is literally giving you 200 - 300K subscribers before you even say a word (see HoloX and Council). Even the least popular Hololive talents are doing just fine by general streamer standards.
>All you have to do is the bare minimum and financially you'll be set for the next decade at the very least.
>Kson and Mikeneko have proven that even after you leave, you'll STILL have a following even without the Holo character.
