I cheated for money in The Sims. without cheats though, there was some exploit or glitch or something. Same thing more recently in BotW - maxed out the hearts and stamina and went and yoinked the Master Sword right away. clipped my way through the trial of the sword, which was arguably harder, for me, than just beating it outright. spent an hour dealing with game crashing levels of inventory overload while stealing the one hit...one shot....the stupid OHK/1HP weapon from the beginning of the DLC. waited until well into the post game to finally go and grab the Hylian Shield, AND save scummed while doing it, so I could get one with the best possible modifiers. then I duplicated it, put 3 on Link's wall, filled my inventory with them, saved, and kept duping them and taking selfies atop a pile of them until the game crashed to celebrate...
cheating with in game glitches and exploits doesn't ruin the fun, it's PART of the fun to me!
giving myself unlimited supplies in Satisfactory did kinda ruin the fun...
