I genuinely believe it. In a situation where all of the girls make more than enough money to love comfortably, sending them kind messages, offering positive feedback on their projects and content, making an effort to squash any doxx or harassment you see online before it can spread and encouraging others to do the same in order to create a more positive community does more to improve the quality of life of your oshi than buying an overpriced concert ticket she won't even get 1% of the gross revenue of.
If you did feel the need to support your oshi financially (say, if you want to support specific costly projects she does like original songs) purchasing her individual merchandise or even superchatting is a much better way of turning your money into financial support for your oshi.
The only rational reason to actually shell out for Holofes tickets is because you either care about Hololive as a brand and want to support the entire company, or because you're a huge advocate for idol concerts and you're attempting to vote with your wallet that you want more of such events in the future.
