And then a glint catches my eye,
A small red planet, nigh,
It attracts me with an unknown lure,
As if a secret it did secure.

I swoop down to the surface,
My curiosity, I cannot suppress,
As I land and survey the terrain,
I feel a strange and unsettling strain.

The ground beneath me starts to quake,
A sudden tremble, my soul does take,
And then a flash, a brilliant light,
As if the planet has taken flight.

I'm blinded by the sudden blast,
All my senses overwhelmed at last,
As the darkness envelopes my sight,
I'm left with only my own might.

And then I hear a voice, a song,
Soft and gentle, yet so strong,
It beckons me to come and see,
The mysteries of this world to be.

I'm guided by this celestial choir,
And slowly my vision does transpire,
As my eyes adjust to the light,
A whole new world is within my sight.

The small red planet, a hidden gem,
A beauty that can't be condemned,
For within its depths and shadows,
A life force that forever glows.

I stand in awe of this newfound grace,
A gift that can't be replaced,
And with renewed vigor, I set out,
To explore what this planet is all about.
