/vt/ - Virtual Youtubers

I feel like my mic is too quiet but if I boost it using OBS settings my voice sounds awfully "metallic" and close to peaking at times. I'm using this Samson meteorite microphone. Is there a way to fuck around with sound settings to it captures the voice loud and clear without it getting distorted or is this type of mic just inherently fucked?
