grapefruit is the most well written character. out of the entire cast, he's the one who feels most "real".

he puts a tough guy act, but clearly also has a very sensitive side.
he has many insecurities, but he also puts on great efforts to self improve, e.g. by lifting.
he's very competitive. he usually loses challenges, but he never gives up or loses his motivation.

I think we all have something to learn from him
