Kiki's been talking about avocado lately and it inspired me to try some for breakfast. Avocado have HUGE seeds in the middle, which confuses me because a lot of fruit evolved to be eaten by something and then have the seed passed out somewhere else to spread the tree, but this one is too big! I googled it and the theory is that avocado evolved when extinct megafauna like the giant ground sloth were still around, and these massive creatures were responsible for spreading the seeds.
